Belly Dancing? Are You Serious? Are You Curious? We have all seen a Belly Dancer at some point in our life; even if just a photo or a clip in a movie. Can you for a second go back to that moment? Do you remember anything about your thought? Do you recall having a quick judgement? You certainly are not alone. It seems to be the natural response for many to quickly think of Belly Dancing as something mysterious and forbidden, and seeing a Belly Dancer for the first time is definitely very thought-provoking.

Many 80s TV shows reflected a change in attitude about women's roles in our society. American women were no longer seen as limited in their abilities to hold any position in life that they desired. Shows like "Cagney & Lacey", "Falcon Crest", "Hart to Hart", "Moonlighting", "Murder She Wrote", and "Who's the Boss?" put women not only in command over their own lives; they also put the ladies in charge of men!

My first conscious memory of a clock was after I was married and went back home for the first time. I had married the love of my life and everything was going fine - but I just wanted to go "home." I was homesick. After being "home" for a few hours, I found myself alone just relaxing in Daddy's black, leather recliner and drinking in the sounds/smells of "home." Mama and Daddy had a large clock over the fireplace complete with a mesmerizing, swinging gold pendulum and rich, vibrant tones that played on the quarter hour. Nestling in that comfortable, old recliner and being quieted with the steady swing of the pendulum was soothing to the heart.
